Take tram lines 1 and 7 or bus lines 30, 31 and 39 to the stop Kaiser-Josef-Platz. Coaches may park all day at Franz-Graf-Allee and Burgring, and at Opernring in the evening

With Flixbus from Vienna to Graz and back

Flixbus takes opera and theatre fans from Vienna to Graz and back the same evening. The last bus from the stop in Girardigasse close to the opera departs daily at 10 pm.

A free ride to the stages of Graz!

Your ticket for Oper Graz (this also includes seasonal tickets) is valid for all Styrian public transport* included in the Styrian Transport Association 3 hours before and 7 hours after the start of the show.

People with disabilities

Our opera house has barrier-free access via a side entrance. Four wheelchair spaces are available in the main auditorium at standing room price.
Visitors with disabilities receive a 50% discount on the full price upon presentation of a corresponding ID; this also applies to an accompanying person registered on the ID. There are also four parking spaces available for people with disabilities on level 1 of the Operngarage car park.

Cheap parking

Opera visitors receive discounted parking tickets for the BOE car park on Opernring instead of paying the full price of € 4.50 per started hour. The entrance is located in Hamerlinggasse and has covered access to the opera house.
The discounted parking period starts at 2 pm for afternoon performances and two hours before the begin of each evening performance.
Park your vehicle in the garage and have your normal parking ticket stamped and converted into the discounted opera ticket at the second box office in the entrance foyer to the left of the main entrance. You can do this either before the show or during the interval. Please note that this service will not be available anymore after the performance! The stamped ticket will be your exit ticket with which you open the barrier to exit the garage.
Parking tickets already paid for with a debit or credit card cannot be converted into discounted tickets.
