Ballet Inside. Hello Again!
A new season is always exciting and sets expectations among audiences as well as artists. We’d like to kick it off by looking back at the previous season and the beginnings of our newly reformed Ballett Graz. Our dancers will showcase their favourite moments of personal highlights on stage in hort excerpts of the various choreographies from Orlando to Urban Wolves. Learn about the challenges of the rehearsal process and the moments of joy during the performances!

A week with Anne Jung
Anne Jung began rhythmic gymnastics as a child and has taken part in European and World Championships as well as the Olympic Games over the course of her career. She later received her dance training at the Cologne University of Music. Her first engagement was with Ballett Mainz from 2009 to 2013. In 2014, she transfered to Nederlands Dans Theater 1 and danced in works by Marco Goecke, Paul Lightfoot, Sol León, Jiří Kylián, Medhi Walerski, Mats Ek and Franck Chartier. From 2017 to 2022 she was a member of the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company. Anne Jung has been working as a freelance dancer and choreographer since 2023.

A week with Jon Ole Olstad
Jon Ole Olstad studied dance at the National Academy of the Arts in Oslo. After graduating, he joined the touring project ‘Kamuyot’, a collaboration between the Swedish Riksteatern and the Batsheva Dance Company under the direction of artistic director Ohad Naharin. In 2013, Jon Ole was engaged by Nederlands Dans Theater 1 where he worked with choreographers such as Paul Lighfoot and Sol Leon, Johan Inger, Hofesh Shechter, Marco Goecke, Alexander Ekman, Jiří Kylián, Mehdi Walerski and Crystal Pite. Since 2009, Jon Ole Olstad has been teaching, passionately passing on his knowledge and love of dance to others with.
